Creativity + Precision

I am a recent graduate from Iowa State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising & Design with a concentration in Creative and Technical Design. I currently work full-time in a retail position, where I continue to build my understanding of product, customer experience, and the business side of fashion, while actively seeking an opportunity to begin my career in the fashion industry in a more design-focused role. I am open to relocation.

In 2024, I completed an internship at a bridal salon, where I gained hands-on experience working with garments, fittings, and assisting with the selection and purchasing of bridal and prom dresses. I also had the opportunity to see what goes into owning and operating a retail shop, and I attended Atlanta Apparel Formal Market in July, which expanded my exposure to the business and presentation of formalwear within the industry.

My passion lies in women’s formalwear, with a focus on feminine silhouettes and thoughtful detail. I am especially drawn to design work that combines creativity with precision, where concept, structure, and craftsmanship come together.
